Howdy.
What are the things you don't like to do? The things you put off doing, drag your feet over, procrastinate beginning?
Laundry? Calling someone back? Taking out the garbage?
I really dislike having to use the phone. There's a short list of people whom I don't mind calling (Mac, Ashley, Mols included) but I really am irked by having to return calls, check voicemails, and all that. I don't know why I am so bothered, but I will leave it on my to-do list until very last. I don't like having to explain myself, be transferred, re-explain, etc. It's silly and such a simple thing but it really is a drag, in my opinion. When people offer to text rather than call me, like apartment finder people for example, I am like yes-thank-heavens-please-do.
My friend Ashley--the same one I don't mind calling (that's really a compliment, friend)--hates cleaning up loose hair off the bathroom floor. Gross, but come on, all women with at least chin length hair know what we're talking about. It comes out when you brush or blow dry or straighten and floats around on the floor. It's impossible to clean up well and seems to reoccur just as soon as you've bitten the bullet and gotten on your hands and knees to do the job. If you have carpet, drag your hand across it and see if you don't gather a nice sized hair ball in about 2 seconds. Gag.
Ashley also dislikes dishes that must be hand-washed (she lets them "soak" even when unnecessary), and cleaning out her purse, too.
How about refilling products? You know you're down to the last bit and you've watched the supply decrease slowly for weeks...but yet still wait until you're totally out to replace it. Why?!
Taking the dry cleaning. And picking it up. I don't have to do this much anymore (hello wardrobe of jeans!) but I swear I used to keep a dry-cleaning pile or the receipt for weeks before I went to get it. I even sometimes considered the dry cleaner would give away the clothes I'd left, but even then I would not go right away. So silly.
I'm pretty good at sending thank you notes, doing my laundry, cleaning every week. I go to the grocery store (almost) regularly and I don't let my to-do list go for too long, but...following up with insurance, cashing checks or washing out tupperware? Ugh. Double UGH.
Tell me, what are the things that make you say ugh?

I hate making phone calls too. I would so much rather send a card via snail mail or text/email. I think its because I'm socially avoidant when left to my own devices.
I also hate taking out the trash, leaving the house more than twice (if you can't get it all in one trip, don't get it!), and growing up I used to had taking out the compost bucket. It was like feeding the pigs slop... we we had no pigs and it usually smelled!
